The SMU-201R consists of a SMU-200-4 Master Unit and a RWM-1500-2 Remote Unit. The SMU-201C consists of a SMU-200-4 Master Unit and a RWM-1000-1 Remote Unit.

The SMU-201 monitors either resistive (R) or capacitive (C) wrist-straps, ground and a bench-top, and is expandable to up to 4 remotes, such that by adding the proper remotes, one SMU-201 Master Control Unit can monitor up to 4 workstations if wrist-straps only are monitored or up to 2 workstations if both wrist-straps and bench-tops are monitored.

The SMU-201C may also be oredered with the RWM-1000-2 in place of the RWM-1000-1 remote. The RWM-1000-2 contains two independent wrist-strap monitoring circuits and permits continuous monitoring of both an operator and a guest.

The standard RWM-1500-2 remote, supplied with the SMU-201R, features a fully monitored guest jack.
